Sripad H. Dhawlikar, MD, attended Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, and received his medical degree in 1985. Then, he served his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at State University of New York-Buffalo/Erie County Medical Center. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in spine surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Weill Cornell University. Dr. Dhawlikar received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. Over the years, he has been recognized with multiple awards, including his inclusion into Continental Who’s Who and Money Magazine’s Top Surgeons.  Dr. Dhawlikar dedicates his success to his wife’s support and love, as well as Drs.
